Good, Bad, Ugly & Stupid (122)

Good

• An Election Court dismissed two election petitions filed by two voters to challenge the results of the Titiwangsa and Wangsa Maju parliamentary seats.

• Those who are eligible for Socso benefits can claim them within a day if they provide the required documents.

• The UN Security Council demanded an end to persistent sexual violence during armed conflict, calling it a war crime and a component of genocide.

Bad, Ugly & Stupid

• At least two BN MPs from Sarawak on the verge of throwing their support behind the opposition.

• The press conference area at the corner of the lobby at the Parliament was the only spot where the media was allowed unrestricted access.

• Speaker defended the decision to strict the number of media personnel covering parliament proceedings to five.

Bad & Ugly

• A policeman was detained for allegedly forcing a 17-year-old to perform oral sex and raping her in a police station in Putra Heights.

Bad

• Death toll reaches 83 in Indian floods.

• The Mat Rempits have ‘revved’ up their nuisance level from street racing to robbery.

Stupid

• Mahathir claims that former judges removed during the 1988 judicial crisis were “bribed” into making allegations against him.

• Lingam ha sfiled for a judicial review to quash the findings of a royal commission.
