Good and Bad

• Abdullah will step down as PM and Umno president in March next year.

Good

• Some10,000 Orang Asli in Perak will be given land titles to help raise their socioeconomic status, supplement their household income and increase productivity.

• Several NGOs have urged Bukit Aman police to conduct thorough investigations into reports of sexual abuse of Penan girls in logging areas in Sarawak.

• Transparency International-Malaysia president Ramon Navaratnam: The government has the responsibility to update the people on the financial situation that the world is facing.

• Minister in PM Department Bernald Dompok: The National Registration Department needs a complete overhaul in view of numerous goof-ups in processing Malaysians citizenships.

• Three PAS assemblymen attended the Nine Emperor Gods Festival at a Chinese temple in Kedah.

• Fairuz won the Sprint race and finished second in the Feature race at the 4.63km Zandvoort circuit in the Netherlands.

• FAM will fully support the decision of Mohd Zaquan and Mihd Aidil to play in the Slovakia Professional League.

• Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel will be back by Christmas.

Bad

• Liverpool could lose Rafael Benitez with the club’s owners so far refusing to sanction an extension to his current deal.

Stupid

• The Home Ministry wants to ban the Hindraf.
