Good

• Khir Toyo and wife have been called to answer in a public inquiry.

• Anwar said he would re-submit to the MACC a complete file of materials and documents in relation to allegations that the IGP and the AG had cover up his “black-eye” case.

• MCA: The Sedition Act that was used to charge Karpal Singh is an “archaic law unbefitting to modern society. As such, there is a pressing need for the government to review and make necessary amendments to review and make necessary amendments to it.

• The Bar Council has criticized the use of the Sedition Act 1948 against Karpal Singh.   

• Handphones confiscated from pupils in schools will only be returned to the parents.

• Muthu has secured enough nominations to challenge Samy Vellu.

• Nik Aziz criticized the idea of BN PAS unity government.

• Tesco Stores is permanently cutting prices on 200 essential grocery and fresh market products.

Good & Bad

• More people came forward to report sexual assaults in the US military.

Bad

• A  Wall Street Journal senior editor was fined RM24,000 for contempt of court over three articles that allegedly insulted the city-state’s judiciary.

• Palestinian officials say talks between Hamas and Fatah have broken up without a deal on a national unity government.

Stupid

• Members of Perak state assembly Rights and Privilege Committee have given statements to the MACC.

The discovery of mysterious items under Pak Lah’s table at the party headquareters.
